And here's the part most Aussies don't expect — it doesn't need a doona cover. The SkinKind™ shell is baby-grade soft, so it goes straight on the bed. When it needs a wash, the whole thing goes in the machine.

Fully machine washable — no dry cleaning, no cover to strip off.
Because the Cmfrt Billow™ is double-stuffed, it needs room to move in the drum. Here's the honest version:
- Double/Queen: needs a 15kg+ capacity washer. Most Aussie home machines are 7–10kg, so check yours first.
- King/Super King: use a commercial laundromat washer. Costs about $10 and takes under an hour.
- Wash one quilt per load. Nothing else in with it — no towels, no sheets.
- Cold wash, gentle cycle, mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener.
- Low-heat tumble dry with dryer balls, or lay flat in a cool, well-ventilated spot. Keep it out of direct sun so the fibres don't degrade.
Realistically you'll wash it two or three times a year. Give it a good shake out every fortnight and it'll stay lofty in between.

Nope, and that's the whole point. The SkinKind™ shell is baby-grade soft, so it's designed to go straight onto your bed. Use a cover if you like the look of one, but you're not missing anything by skipping it - and skipping it means one less thing to wrestle onto the bed at 10pm.

No. That's the bit that surprises people about a double-stuffed quilt. The heat-adaptive fibres respond to your body temperature rather than just trapping heat, and the built-in air channels keep things moving. You'll be warm in winter and comfortable through summer.

Go by your bed: Double/Queen (210 × 210 cm) suits Double and Queen beds. King/Super King (245 × 210 cm) suits King and Super King. If you share a bed and one of you is a doona thief, size up - the extra drape sorts it out.
